RCD testing or safety switch testing is the process of “tripping” your RCD to ensure it operates correctly. This device can save your life in the event of an electrical incident.
All switchboards and circuits are required to have RCD protection with 6 monthly push button testing and yearly time testing to ensure they are working correctly. We will provide a test log, schedule and reminder to keep you up to date and be OH&S compliant. The QLD government does require proof of this testing.
